Making

We make the patterns, do the cutting and sew the samples in our own workshop, and carry out quality control ourselves.

Pink and white fabric rolls stacked high in the cutting room.

How a piece is made

  1. Cream and black fabric rolls on the cutting table.

    Step 1: Fabric

Every style starts with its fabric. Rolls arrive at the cutting room and are set aside per style.

  2. Step 2: Pattern

Each style is patterned on screen, and the pieces are laid out to use the fabric as efficiently as possible.

  3. Step 3: Marker

The layout is plotted on paper at full size. The cut follows these lines.

  4. Step 4: Spreading

The fabric is spread ply by ply by machine, each layer aligned and at the same tension.

  5. Stacks of cut navy, white and red pieces with a perforated pattern sheet.

    Step 5: Cutting

Cutting happens in our own cutting room. Pieces are bundled size by size.

  6. Step 6: Sample

Every style is sewn in our sample room before it goes into production.
