Privacy notice

This notice is provided under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") to explain how your personal data is processed when you visit mintnewfashion.com and when you contact us through the quote form or our communication channels. This is a translation; in case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.

1. Data controller

Your personal data is processed by Zafer Dede as the data controller. Mint New Fashion is a trademark registered in the name of Zafer Dede.

2. Personal data we process

Identity: your first and last name.
Contact: your email address; if you share it, your phone or WhatsApp number.
Request details: if you share them, your company name and country; the styles you are interested in, your message and the site language you used to send the form.
Transaction security: when you visit the site, your IP address, browser and device information, and the date and time of your visit.
Visit statistics: the pages you view, where you came to the site from, your country, your device and browser type, and how fast pages load. This information is collected without cookies and is not used to build a profile of you.

3. Purposes of processing

To receive and assess your wholesale quote requests and reply to you,
to contact you about your request,
to carry out the sales process if your request turns into an order,
to keep our site secure and prevent misuse,
to measure how the site is used through aggregate visit statistics and to improve it,
to comply with our legal obligations.

4. Method of collection and legal grounds

Your personal data is collected electronically when you send it to us yourself through the quote form, email or WhatsApp; transaction security data and visit statistics are collected automatically when you visit the site. This data is processed on the following legal grounds under Article 5(2) of the KVKK:

Subparagraph (c): processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract; for assessing your quote request and for the sales process.
Subparagraph (ç): processing is necessary for the data controller to comply with a legal obligation.
Subparagraph (f): processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms; for site security, visit statistics and keeping records of correspondence about your request.

The "I have read the privacy notice" box on the quote form confirms that you have read this notice; it is not a declaration of explicit consent.

5. Transfers

Our site is delivered through the infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) for speed and security. When you visit the site, your IP address, connection data and the information you send to our site (including the content of the quote form) reach our server through this infrastructure and are therefore processed on servers abroad. We also keep visit statistics with Cloudflare's Web Analytics service; it does not use cookies, does not follow you across other sites and only shows us aggregate numbers.
The information you send with the quote form is stored on our own server in Istanbul and can only be viewed by our authorised staff.
Your personal data may be shared with authorised public institutions and organisations where required by law and upon their request.
When you write to us on WhatsApp, your messages are transmitted through the WhatsApp service (Meta Platforms), which is subject to its own privacy terms.

We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes, and we do not sell it.

6. Cookies

Our site only uses one strictly necessary session cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember your language preference; it is deleted when you close your browser. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies; our visit statistics also work without cookies.

7. Retention

We keep your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed and for the periods required by applicable legislation. At the end of these periods, your data is erased, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to the data controller you have the right to:

a) learn whether your personal data is processed,
b) request information if it has been processed,
c) learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose,
ç) know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad,
d) request its correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, and request that this be notified to the third parties to whom it was transferred,
e) request its erasure or destruction under the conditions in Article 7 of the KVKK, and request that this be notified to the third parties to whom it was transferred,
f) object to a result against you arising from the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
g) claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

9. How to apply

Under the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you may send your request in writing with a wet signature to the address above, in person or through a notary public; with a secure electronic signature or a mobile signature; or to info@mintnewfashion.com from the email address you previously provided to us and that is registered in our system.

Your application must include your first and last name (and your signature for written applications), your Turkish ID number if you are a Turkish citizen, or your nationality and passport number if you are a foreign national, your address for notifications, your email address and phone number if available, and the subject of your request.

Your application will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. If the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged according to the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board.
